Their are several different varieties of rowing available, the first and probably the most common to the everyday person is the rowing machine. Relatively cheap to buy and not requiring a lot of room, using a rowing machine is a great way to increase overall fitness levels. River rowing is a more demanding aspect of rowing, requiring you to join a rowing club for access to th essential equipment. Finally coastal rowing, which is the most demanding form of rowing their is, again requiring you to join a rowing club. Please read our faq before attempting any of our fitness exercises.
